The National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association (NFDMA) partnered with the National Urban League to spearhead the "Limos to the Polls" initiative surrounding the monumental 2020 general election. Over 200 funeral homes across the U.S. planned to participate to help provide transportation to thousands of registered voters. Branda J Communications was brought on to secure coverage surrounding the initiative as well as highlighting the NFDMA and participating funeral homes in over 20 cities.
BJC crafted press materials surrounding the campaign including the media alert, press release and social media graphics to aid in promoting and pitching the initiative. With targeted pitching to local, regional and national media, BJC worked to secure coverage in over 55 outlets including INSIDER, Good Day LA and the Baltimore Sun, gaining 1.42 million coverage views and over 11,000 social media shares.

The Inaugural HBCU All-Star Game featured the Best in Black College Basketball on April 3, 2022 at UNO Lakefront Arena during Final Four weekend in New Orleans. Broadcast live on CBS Sports and created by HBCU All Stars LLC. Founder and CEO Travis Williams, the event gave a platform to HBCU players who otherwise might have gone unnoticed. Branda J Communications was brought on to coordinate media on the big game day.
The BJC team handled media credential requests and pre-event correspondence, coordinated media check-in, coordinated with production staff and led the post game press conference. Some of the HBCU All-Star Game Day event coverage included ESPN, ESPN Andscape, HBCU Alum and Getty Images.
